I Attended BrickFair NJ 2017 this year for my first GBC layout, armed with the first versions of the Lego GBC Scrolling Display, Lego GBC Super Tower Battle and Lego GBC Cardan Lift V2.
The GBC layout was coordinated by Tom Atkinson and I also manned by Stuart Roll and a few others. It was a fun and grueling few days learning lots of GBC lessons on module design and durability. Still, it got me thoroughly hooked on Lego Great Ball Contraptions and I vowed to return bigger and better the following year.
I also picked up a “Staff Favourite” award for the Scrolling display and saw an excellent Nightime display by ILUGNY that convinced me to do nighttime GBC.
